1. The quarter will end two weeks after the break. However, I am NOT taking late work after the break. Please keep in mind students can redo any assignment (aside from assessments) for a C. Students with any zeros on Gradebook (aside from the notebook grade) will NOT be allowed to complete the extra credit. 

 

2. The extra credit for Spring Break will be that the students must research a mathematician from any point in history. They must either write a two-page typed essay (12 pt. font) or a 20 slide PowerPoint on the person. Since this task is substantial, I will raise them one letter grade. It will be due the Monday after the break, April 1st. Plagiarism will result in no credit and a detention. 

 

3. Extra help will restart after the break. I will have Tuesday and and Thursday recess help, as well as Wednesday morning help.
