Yesterday and today, students were introduced to Gobstopper.com  – an online program with an interactive version of the novel we are reading, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.  On Gobstopper, students can read annotations to the novel, find a definition for ANY word, answer questions I have assigned throughout the chapter, see pictures and watch related video, and more!  Students will use this program to review (and learn more about!) each chapter for a grade.  They may also use this program to read the book at home and gain comprehension during their reading.  I will try to have the current chapters assigned by Friday of each week, so students have almost 2 full weekends to work. (So chapters 7-12 will be assigned and available by Friday 9/13, but will not be due until Saturday 9/21.)

All assigned chapters for each week are due by midnight on Saturday. (But don’t do your homework that late!)
