Parents and Students,

 In order to encourage responsibility and personal accountability amongst our students, there will be increased expectations regarding the homework policy for Language Arts for the rest of the year. (**First quarter, students were allowed to turn in all makeup/missing work for full credit.)

This quarter, however, only THREE late or missing assignments will be allowed for each class – NO EXCEPTIONS.

IF YOU ARE ABSENT – speak to the teacher immediately the day you return to school.  These assignments do not count as ‘late’ or ‘missing.’

Instructions for late or missing work:

1. CHECK GRADES ONLINE REGULARLY!!!
2. Complete the missing or late assignment. (Ask Ms. Stowell if you need replacement directions or handouts.)
3. Parents sign the missing work pass.
4. Staple the missing work pass to the assignment and give it directly to Ms. Stowell!

**DO NOT PUT IT IN THE HOMEWORK TRAY.**
